Living in Tasmania, Jenny and husband Stephen have five children.
Belinda Blackburn lives in Melbourne with her husband and three wonderful children. She is an at home mum, Australian Breastfeeding Association counsellor and also loves to write when she can find the time. She has a short story, Reunited, in Lives touched by Breastfeeding and another, Swings and Roundabouts, in Unborn Beauty.
Tania Bondarenko is a Registered Nurse, living in
Melbourne. Tania is married and expecting her first baby in a few months time.
Janet Camilleri is the editor and founder of “Footprints” magazine for Australian Christian women (www.footprintsaustralia.com). Her work has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies, and she has released two books: “Clues to your Calling” in 2003, and “Decadence: treat yourself to 10 years of Footprints” in 2008.
Pat Dillon came to Australia in 1968 and was soon taken up with the busy life of a pastor’s wife. Pat has had numerous articles in Christian magazines for women, and in 2007 was joint winner of the Alpha2Omega Christian Writers’ Competition. She is presently writing an anthology about the crucifixion.
Janette Fernando is a Melbourne poet, a member of The Wordsmiths of Melbourne poetry group and Managing Editor of Poetica Christi Press. Her collection of poems Two Edged (Poetica Christi Press) was short-listed for the 2005 Australian Christian book of the Year award. She is married to Roger and mother to four adult children.
Anne Hamilton, a longtime writer and mathematician, has a number of publications to her name. Anne has a trilogy of short books about God’s great creation and how maths integrates with that called The Singing Silence, The Winging Word and The Listening Land. She has a new children’s book coming out in November 2009, Nerrilee’s World. She also writes for Christian Wioman magazine and is their book review editor.
Kathryn Harrison lives in Axedale, Victoria with her husband, Paul and daughters, Isabella, Genevieve and Imogen. She works part time as a Teacher Librarian at Castlemaine and the rest of the time she writes and illustrates and baby sits her nephews. Yep, life is busy!
Ngaire Hart loves the feel of ink on paper. Staring at a blank page is a challenge to fill it with words. She enjoys writing and publishing poems, short stories and articles from her home in Queensland. She believes that the process of writing is an activity that teaches us about acceptance of who we are.
Sharlene Harvey lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband and two beautiful girls. She has had a cartoon strip, reviews, interviews, photos and illustrations published in several newspapers and literary magazines.She is currently in the process of illustrating a children’s book she has written.
Audrey Kemmett is a mother and grandmother and writer. Many of her thoughts she combined in her book, Letterd from Nana.
Andrew Lansdown’s poems and stories have been widely published and have won many literary awards. His most recent books are: a collection of poetry, Fontanelle (Five Islands Press); a collection of short stories, The Dispossessed (Interactive Press); three fantasy novels, With My Knife, Dragonfox and The Red Dragon (Omnibus Books/ Scholastic Australia); and two poetry chapbooks, Little Matters: a gathering of 89 haiku & senryu and Consolations: 48 tanka (Picaro Press).
Lisa Limbrick lives in Sydney with her husband and two children. She is the author of ‘Stepping out of Darkness’, and is a freelance writer for Australian Christian Woman. Lisa has both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in psychology, and is currently undertaking a PhD.
Angela Morrison is a professional musician alternates many a devoted hour between playing her viola and discussing our world with her four children - in rhythm and rhyme where possible! In this world of sophisticated views, Angela finds maintaining the innocence of children most urgent and vital. Angela found her niche writing of everyday things with spirituality and humour.
Rochelle Manners began her working career as a secondary mathematics and science teacher. She always wanted to write and has now been a part of a number of books including, her kids book Chirpy’s New Home, a craft activity book, Wildlife Craft, editing Unborn Beauty and also has the opportunity to write educational texts with Pearson Education. Rochelle and her husband have two children, so far.
Narelle Nettelbeck is a wife and mother of 2 boys. She has a passion to support and encourage other women on their journey of motherhood. Catherine Oehlman is a full time mum currently being raised by a terrific toddler and a curious crawler. She writes about everyday mothering experiences as a way of processing them, and strives to learn something about her kids, something about herself or something about God. Annette Paskins is a mum of three beautiful children. She has written many poems over the years. A number of which have been published in anthologies by Feather Books, U.K.
Janelle Patch is a wife and homeschooling mother of four children with her fifth arriving October 2009 who enjoys writing poetry and songs that encourage and inspire others, especially in their relationship with God. Babies are a Blessing was written even before she had her first baby. In the womb was written with her most recent pregnancy. Janelle hopes to publish other work in the future, including her own anthology book.
Graham Preston loves to draw and as a father of seven also loves children. He lives in Brisbane and has contributed illustrations to a number of books, including Unborn Beauty.
Rhonda W Rice, mother of six; grandmother of twelve; born in Petersham NSW and living in Green Valley NSW. Writes mostly poetry (since early childhood.) Rhonda has been placed in competitions and published in anthologies and books. Her poem Year of the Child was originally written in 1979 and made into bookmarks.
Sarah Rowan Dahl is a contemporary American-born artist. Receiving a Bachelor of Fine Art, Sarah began her business and oved to Australia with her husband Jared. The cover is using painted body art from while she was pregnant with her daugher, Selah Rose.
Fee Sievers is a Melbbourne poet and writer. Fee has had two books published, two for children and two for adults. She had had other poems. stories and reviews published in anthologies, magazines and online. She wrote “Our Baby” with her daughter Holly.
Cameron Semmens has had 8 books and 4 CDs of his poetry published. He’s performed and run workshops for fifteen years in schools, churches, pubs, conferences and festivals. He lives in Melbourne with his wife Sonya, who is also a writer, and his baby son Spencer, who specialises in snuggling.
Kathie M Thomas is an author, blogger, speaker, photographer and business owner, who lives with her husband in Melbourne, Australia. Kathie wrote Gifts when her youngest daughter was just a few months old. Having lost a child through Cot Death some years previous the fear of losing another was always with her as each child was born. Gifts is a poem given to her by God as a reminder that our children are gifts to us and belong to Him.
Paula Vince lives in Mount Barker, South Australia, with her husband and three children. She enjoys her simple lifestyle of writing and educating her children at home. Paula values her faith, family and fiction. She believes nothing has more power to delight and inspire people than a good story with lovable characters.
