Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are authors required to pay anything to have their books published?
No, we are not a self-publisher. We encourage authors to help market their books and be involved, but if accepted we do not require specific outlays of money or time.
We believe that books that are published should sell. The trick is always marketing, but the publisher, together with the author, can sell the books. The only money authors will spend with EBP is in purchasing their own copies of their book at a substantially discounted author rate (based on equitable author accepted standards).
2. What markets do you sell to?
EBP mostly sells to the Christian market. We sell through bookstores both nationally and internationally. We also sell through Light the Dark, the Australian Christian Party Plan.
3. What types of books do you accept for publication?
Christian fiction, non-fiction, for all ages.
4. Do you only accept books from certain denominations?
No, we consider books from any Christian perspective. We just want to uphold Jesus in what we publish! Faith is what matters in our books.
5. Do you accept children's books?
Yes, but we do not publish a large number.
6. Do you publish books for the general market?
Check out Wombat Books
7. How do I purchase your publications?
Online, through bookstores or through Light the Dark.
