Submissions are open at any time. Books will be published when sufficient quality work is collected for the particular topic.

Psalms, songs and poetry.

Submission Guidelines

This book will be a small collection of works by everyday people, Christians in todays society with praise for God. It will include scripture, poetry, psalms and songs. Illustrators looking to publish work are particularly encouraged to send in their submissions for review. Original illustrations can be returned on request after publication.

This idea comes from the knowledge that many of us write praise in the form of prayers, songs, and psalms. As everyday Christians, Christianity is part of our life and whether or not you are a new writer or established all submissions will be considered.

Submissions should reflect a positive attitude, should be Christian in nature, and be uplifting, positive and praising. Submissions can be in any of the below formats:

Poems: Four-page limit.
Songs, music can be included, but we will not do recordings.
Psalms: no length limit, similar to the idea of the Psalms in the bible.
Pictures:  Original photos or drawings.  Both colour and black and white will be accepted for consideration, but colour pages will be limited.

This may be the first of a number of volumes, depending on interest.

There is no cost to send in submissions, as this is not a competition.  All contributors included in the work will receive a free copy of the book and discounted copies for future orders.

Authors retain copyright of their own work but must give exclusive permission for Even Before Publishing/Wombat Books to use their work in the book and on the website for 12 months and then non-exclusive rights for a further time.Please keep in mind this means that you should think about how you wish to publish you work elsewhere if that applies.
