In God's Hands: Overcoming miscarriage in a fallen world
To be edited by Rochelle Manners and Lisa Limbrick.
This call for stories is still open. The book will be released in early 2012.
In God's hands will companion our trade book published under Mostly for Mothers.
Here at EBP we value human life and are aware of the great suffering that occurs when miscarriage occurs. But at the same time there are bible promises to offer that no miscarriage will occur. How do we get those promises into our lives? What experiences have you had? This book should be a collection of stories (a few poems might be accepted too however the focus is on stories) of overcoming miscarriage. How the miscarriage is overcome can be medical, spiritual or a combination of both. The stories need to be encouraging so that the book can be given to someone who is grieving at a time of loss or afraid of miscarriage to give hope. Stories can also focus on the reflection, belief and understanding of where the miscarried child went.
Stories can be any be up tp 2000 words. May be submitted by both email only.
No payment will be made for the stories, however you will get a free copy of each of the books in the series to say thank you. You will be acknowledged as the author and copyright belongs to you.
We are also looking for a few short poems to go in the journal or thought provokers etc. If you have any quotes you would like to have used in this please send them, clearly identifying them as to be used for the journal.
Check out our other anthologies too!
